Art Field workshop: DRAWN TO NATURE

During this workshop, participants will head outdoors and do simple drawings and writings, recording their responses to the landscape. If time permits, we will construct a small book as a record of our experiences.

Louise Grunewald teaches calligraphy and design workshops nationally and maintains her studio, Western Hands, in Durango, Colorado. Her artistic passions include Solarplate printmaking, watermedia painting, drawing, lettering, and the book arts. Louise’s studio work is largely inspired by time spent outdoors, and taken from her sketchbook impressions of the natural world. Her work can be seen in numerous private and public collections around the United States and internationally.
