Lament & Beauty: Learning to See in a Time of Ecological Crises

October 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free

In this talk, Will Duncan explores how a potent cross fertilization between Natural History and Eastern Philosophy can help us have more embodied vision and responsiveness to a rapidly changing world.

Together, these traditions invite us into a more intimate and grounded way of seeing—one that can help us meet the catastrophic without turning away, and potentially find ourselves anew within the dynamic conditions of our time.

Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation starts at 7:00pm.

*The event is free, but space is limited, and registration is required. For those unable to attend in person, the talk will be live-streamed on our YouTube Channel.

Will Duncan has taught throughout the world including Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe, South America and throughout the United States. He has worked as a hospice chaplain and presently is a lecturer, meditation teacher, consultant, and lavender farmer. Known for his non-dogmatic, down-to-earth, humor and ease, Will teaches by way of inquiry and lively discussion.
