My work is, for me, a compelling form of reciprocity in response to the beauty of the natural world. While not literally representing the plant world, there is a sense of bio-inspired architecture at work. It is in the process of making, where patterns and relationships arise functionally, that I feel connected to the processes of life. In this body of work I tried to capture the exuberance of life force, a sense of life burgeoning forth, a form caught in the act of growing, flowering, unfolding, on the threshold of change.
