Stone and aggregate found in, around and under the city of Tucson Arizona, constructed along a 12 city block length of Mountain Ave in Tucson AZ
River Paths and Mountian Relics is a public art project created for the city of Tucson Arizona and was constructed along a 12 city block length of Mountain Ave in the heart of the city. Stone and aggregate found in, around and under Tucson was used to create a wandering, river-like ribbon of aggregate accented with periodic boulder arrangements. Created in the midst of cars, bikes, pedestrians, buses, homes and businesses, this project seeks to bring into view the underlying core from which the city arose.
